First Outrage 550 video is complete:
The 550 production kit arrived today. Pictures and video production has already started and I hope to upload the first “what’s in the box” video a little later today as well as some initial pictures.
Timed to coincide with the launch of the Outrage 550 canomod have produced their ’sunshine’ canopy for it. Priced at $100 and available from HeliDirect.
Yes it’s release day, my own production kit is now in the post and will be on it’s way over for the build videos.
Regular visitors may have seen both the indoor 3D flight we did with Ade Law and also the outdoor flight using the crazy power of a Scorpion 4025-1140kv.
There’s more to come as we at Outrage-Tuning will soon all be up and running on production kits.
One last bit of news is that the Scorpion 4020-910kv motor is on the way, so I’ll be able to show some 8S action shortly.
I have now finished working on settings for the flybarless G5 that allow full 3D flight. You can find them in the Outrage-Tuning Forum.
I will post a new flybarless 3D flight video on these settings shortly, I just need to entice my cameraman to the field.
Hopefully this weekend the production Outrage 550 kit leaves the factory and makes it’s way to me for the build video.
I’m really quite looking forward to putting the production kit together and seeing the final finished product. My target is to get the build video completely done inside a week. My guestimate is the kit will arrive here mid of next week assuming customs move it on fairly quick.
